If you're looking for a good movie to see this weekend, check out my review of the new 22 Jump Street. And you might want to bring an extra ass to the theater, because you're gonna be laffing your existing ass off! I liked the first installment (21 Jump Street), but this is one of those oh-so-rare sequels where everyone involved lock in the groove and produce something even better. While the comedic combo of Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are implausibly great, I was also super impressed with all the supporting players, in particular, Jillian Bell, who's "bitchy roommate" character is a revelation. And while Ice Cube as the boss of Jump Street may be a one-note (ANGRY!!!) portrayal, it's a damn funny note. For proof, here he is on Kimmel, saying "nice things" in an extremely angry way.
