"Hell no" is not an actual quote. Nor is "I'm good."
The actual statement from camp Clinton, just released, says:
We have declined Fox News' invitation to participate in a debate in California. As we have said previously, we plan to compete hard in the remaining primary states, particularly California, while turning our attention to the threat a Donald Trump presidency poses. We believe that Hillary Clinton's time is best spent campaigning and meeting directly with voters across California and preparing for a general election campaign that will ensure the White House remains in Democratic hands.
Thank god. The Democratic debates were so goddamn boring, Hillary's clearly got a lock on the nomination, and Bernie is either bad at math or delusional, promising that if he's not the nominee he's going to go down swinging, going after party leaders and talking just today about how the Democratic convention could get "messy."
I'm in the tank for Hillary, sure, but I'm glad she's not wasting our time. Or hers.
