Feeling nostalgic? A Vimeo user just uploaded this fantastic video of the Portland Rose Festival from 31 years ago, filmed by Gary Lacher (who, we believe, is the author of Theatres of Portland and works at moviepreservation.com), sped up with some Dmitri Shostakovich music playing over it. It's quite enjoyable, and timely!
