Good morning, Portland. Here are the links you've been waiting for.

ICYMI: Two popular monthly queer events, Blow Pony and Bearracuda, were kicked out of Euphoria Nightclub after spending most of the last decade at the space. The new owner wants to devote the club solely to EDM music, and hosting monthly queer events there on the weekend could "confuse" its regular attendees.

Some pretty historic housing news: The Portland City Council voted yesterday afternoon to put a $258.4 million affordable housing bond on the November ballot. "As we've reported, the housing bond would be spent over the course of five to eight years, and paid off over 20. The Portland Housing Bureau, after lots of deliberation, has promised what proponents believe are some very safe numbers: 1,300 new or preserved affordable units, serving an estimated 2,900 people."

The Hawthorne Bridge is/was closed this morning as police search for a man accused of a Southeast Portland hit-and-run and shooting:

The shooting occurred sometime before the crash in the area of Southeast 41st Avenue at Woodward Street where a female suffered a gunshot wound, Simpson said. She's expected to survive, he said.
Later, a man crashed his car at the east end of the Hawthorne, got out and then shot a gun at the vehicle, Simpson said. Witnesses then reported seeing the man run toward the bridge and the river. That caused police, including the Special Emergency Reaction Team and the Crisis Negotiation Team, to close Southwest Clay Street to Stark Street and from Southwest Second Avenue to the Willamette River. They also closed the Hawthorne and Morrison bridges.

Stanley Wilson II, the former NFL cornerback who was shot in the abdomen on June 22 while naked on someone else's property, made a court appearance yesterday and said he's "happy to be alive." He's charged with first-degree criminal trespass (a felony) and two counts of second-degree criminal trespass (misdemeanors).

There's a massive 2,800-acre fire east of The Dalles. People in Celilo Village were evacuated, as the fire spread through 15-20 mph winds.

Don't be an asshole like whoever vandalized a Battle Ground, Washington, campsite a Boy Scout troop had rebuilt to honor a scout battling an aggressive cancer. "It's heartbreaking to see what these people did," said the scoutmaster, "we're trying to get it done in a hurry so we can dedicate it to Will."

Portland Tribune: "ODOT fired whistleblower though audit affirmed claims."

There's a higher salary cap in the NBA now, and some mediocre players are getting PAID. Timofey Mozgov, who averaged less than six minutes per game for the Cavaliers during the playoffs, signed a four-year, $64 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. Good for him. Here's a list of players who signed last night on the first night of free agency.

Do not vote for a guy who'll spend $12,000 of a charity's money to purchase a Tim Tebow signed football helmet and jersey for himself. Donald Trump, who is a bad person, did this in 2012, the Washington Post reports.
