Well, just when you thought you couldn't ask Sleater-Kinney for anything more—between their reunion, the new album No Cities to Love on Sub Pop, an epic tour, and a Portland show at the Crystal on May 5—they give you this bit of gloriousness:
So many things are right about Sleater-Kinney jamming out to "A New Wave" in Tina Belcher's bedroom: The perfect swing of Janet Weiss' hair, Carrie Brownstein's well-placed kick, and Corin Tucker's cool guitar chops. But the best part might be the psychedelic backgrounds that swirl as the Belcher kids shake their moneymakers in the ways that only the Belcher kids can. (Team Louise!)
Ummm... what level of panicked should I be that I haven't procured my ticket to Sleater-Kinney's May show yet? Like DEFCON 2 with potential for more sweaty severity as the day edges on?
Also, it's probably time to start a Bob's Burgers/Sleater-Kinney pun contest for the Bob's Burger of the Day. Here, I'll start:
* Pig Me Out Burger
* All Hams on the Bad One Burger
* The Hock Rock Burger
