GOOD MORNING, BLOGTOWN! There's no escape. I can't wait. I need a hit. Baby, give me it. You're dangerous. I'm loving it. LET'S GO TO PRESS.

Portland Public School Superintendent Carole Smithannounced her retirement yesterday following a rocky few months that included both lead and radon scares.

The Portland Public School board is now in a tricky position: rebuild much needed schools, or deal with the hazardous situations of lead and asbestos?

The Timbers Army have nixed one of their more controversial chants that included the perceived to be misogynistic line "Shag your women, drink your beer," though some said it wasn't meant to be taken seriously. (Which wasn't supposed to be taken seriously? The "shagging women" or "drinking beer" part?)

While Oregon has ruled that a person can now identify as neither sex, the DMV is yelling "HOLD ON! HOLD ON!" because it may take them months or years to be able to adjust their antiquated system of issuing licenses.

For those who hate Donald Trump, you'll love this headline: "From cash woes to digital #fails, Trump's campaign is 'worst of all possible worlds.'"

Hillary Clinton goes on the attack again, claiming that Trump's economic plans could trigger a financial crisis.

Trump responded to Clinton's attack with another attack, but... feh. Who cares?

Florida senator (and crybaby Republican presidential wannabe) Marco Rubio has changed his mind and will be running for reelection.

Michigan's new (and bullshit!) pilot program that would test welfare recipients for drugs has thus far yielded ZERO positive test results. ZERO.

Two brothers are waging a legal war agains Mississippi and their attempts to enact a religious freedom bill that would discriminate against the LGBT community.

Now let's look outside at this WEATHER we're having: Mostly sunny with a high of 78, but a possibility of showers tomorrow and Friday.

And finally, let's cheer up your day with this insanely perky Carly Rae Jepsen Japanese shampoo commercial! (Spoiler alert: She really, really, really, really likes this product.)
